Shortlist reads web pages only on sites you approve in the extension. Your profile, resumes, application log and credentials live in your browser's extension storage.

When you run an analysis, generate a resume, or ask for form values, the relevant text is sent to our API for the duration of that request and forwarded to our inference provider. We do not persist your profile or resumes on our servers.

We store: your email, subscription status, monthly usage counters, request metadata (timestamps, token counts), and a cache of job-description extractions keyed by posting, which contains no candidate data.
